A folyamatfejlesztés nem csak egy divatos kifejezés vagy egy elméleti fogalom; ez egy gyakorlati és hatékony módszer arra, hogy a vállalatok teljesítményét a csúcsra járassák. A vállalatoknak folyamatosan keresniük kell azokat a módszereket és technikákat, amelyekkel növelni tudják hatékonyságukat és javítani tudják üzleti teljesítményüket a piacon. A „Folyamatfejlesztés lépései” nem csak egy útmutatót kínál ehhez, hanem egy jól bevált tervet is. - Állapotfelmérés: a folyamatfejlesztő szakértő feltérképezi és dokumentálja a céged jelenlegi működését:
- milyen folyamataid vannak
- hogyan kapcsolódnak egymáshoz ezek a folyamatok
- hogyan mérhetők a folyamataid
- hány ember működteti őket
- melyik folyamaton szeretnél te fejleszteni
- Mit szeretnél elérni? Mi a cél? Konkrét célokat határozz meg például hány százalékkal akarod növelni az árbevételedet vagy csökkenteni a költségeidet.
- Folyamatelemzés: a folyamatfejlesztő szakértő átvizsgálja a folyamataidat és javaslatot tesz arra, melyiket hogyan kell módosítani egyrészt az általad meghatározott cél, másrészt a kiszámítható és hatékony működés szempontjából.
- Az elkészült folyamatfejlesztés javaslatokat a folyamatfejlesztő szakértővel közösen és részletesen átbeszélitek. Ennek megfelelően a folyamatfejlesztési szakértő összeállít egy megvalósítási tervet.
- A megvalósítási terv alapján a folyamatfejlesztés lépéseit meg kell valósítani:
- kommunikálni kell a munkatársak felé a változásokat és az ő szerepüket
- meg kell tanítani a munkatársaknak az módosított munkafolyamatokat
- A mérési szempontok alapján folyamatosan mérni kell az javított folyamatok hatékonyságát. Ha szükséges, tovább kell finomhangolni őket.
