Cipész. Kihalóban lévő szakma. Szerencsém van, mert van egy profi cipészem. Legalábbis eddig azt hittem.
Az új nyári szandálom pántja elszakadt. Természetes volt, hogy hozzá viszem. Egy hetes határidővel vállalt is a varrást. A határidő után pár nappal mentem a szandálomért és ez a papír fogadott: Szabadságon vagyok és a dátum, meddig tart a szabadság. Rendben, semmi gond, gondoltam.
A szabadság után ismét felkerekedtem a szandimért. Ezúttal ez volt kiírva az ajtóra: a mai napon technikai okok miatt zárva. Vettem egy mély levegőt. Rendben, semmi gond, gondoltam ismét.
Másnap, immár harmadjára újra elindultam. Most nyitva volt a cipész, de közölte, hogy ne haragudjak, de elúszott és nincs kész a szandálom. De aznap délután nekiáll és megvarrja. Másnap reggel 8 órakor mehetek érte. Rendben, semmi gond feleltem, de már harmadszor vagyok itt. Kínosan mosolygott.
Másnap reggel 8 órakor természetesen nem volt kész a szandálom. Ekkor már kissé dühös voltam, kértem olyan időpontot mondjon, amikor biztosan készen lesz. Holnap reggel 8 órakor biztosan meglesz. Másnap délután mentem a szandálomért, biztos, ami biztos, de nem volt készen. Megvártam. 15 perc és készen is volt. Ötödik alkalommal jártam ott.
Mi a tanulság mindebből?
Tudta a cipész, hogy mennyi javítani valót vállalhat be egy napra és mennyi időt kell pufferelnie, hogy ne ússzon el? Határozottan nem.Volt folyamata arra, hogyan értesítse az ügyfeleit, ha nem készül el a javítással? Szintén nem.Megúszott volna egy nagy adag idegeskedést és magyarázkodást, ha rendben vannak a folyamatai és működik a kommunikáció az ügyfelei felé? Mindenképpen.Veszít vajon ügyfelet ezzel a működéssel? Valószínűleg. Viszont mivel jó szakember és nincs igazán konkurenciája a városban, nem fogja megérezni.
Kérdés, meddig működhet még így?Az én tanulságom pedig az, hogy telefonáljak a cipésznek, mielőtt elindulok. 
Még a cipésznek is kellenek az átgondolt folyamatok!
